How do I turn this thing on?
It’s kind of terrifying putting yourself out there on the internet. Like, how do people just… introduce themselves without sounding like they’re writing a dating profile? Anyway, hi. I’m Sydney. I’m thirty, a proud cat mom, a full-time worker bee, and a part-time everything-else because I collect hobbies like they’re books on my TBR list.
I started Fictional Therapy because, honestly, stories have always been my way of figuring life out. Fantasy worlds, morally questionable characters, slow burns that ruin my sleep schedule… you get it. Somewhere between real life and fiction is where I tend to exist, and this little corner of the internet is where I plan to spill my thoughts about all of it.
So yeah, this is my first post. It’s weird and a little awkward, but if even one person finds something here that feels comforting, relatable, or just plain entertaining, then that’s enough for me. So, welcome to Fictional Therapy — let’s get lost together for a while.
